Serious multiplayer 3D games using Unity3D, Flash and Red5
Web Wonders - Paul Tondeur
Showcase session about how we combined the best from the Flash world with Unity3D (a 3D browser plug-in) as the fundamentals for serious 3D browser-based games. Flash is used for everything that's related to the interface and requires usability. Unity3D is used to display everything that is 3D. Javascript let both elements on the page communicate with each other. Red5 or any other Flash remoting server is used to add multiplayer functionality to Unity3D, this technique will be open sourced on the long term. This enables the option to build a light version of the 3D environment in a 3D Flash engine, for those who don't want, or can't install the Unity3D plug-in.

Security in Online Gaming, keeping the hackers out
MediaMonks - Quinten Beek

Gaming is almost a hype in the Dutch educational world, hilariously conflicting with the traditional calvinistic values of Dutch society. My school, for example, has been trying to ban games from our computers while, at the same time, promoting education on games and gaming.
